Monitoring and Evaluation is a necessary and a useful learning tool for projects and for program sustainability. Too often it is ignored leading to an inadequate understanding of program or project progress, resource use, results, milestones, and impact. Monitoring and evaluation is best done throughout implementation by those involved in a program or project. I can help you design quality logical frameworks and monitoring and evaluation plans in collaboration with internal teams to ensure practical and realistic measures which support ownership.

I am experienced in developing and implementing monitoring and evaluation plans for various donor funded projects, which includes KfW, EU, World Wildlife Fund, Trillium Foundation, Global Affairs Canada. I work with methodologies such as theory of change and result-based project management.

I advocate an agile and adaptive management approach that helps modify plans and processes in response to uncertainty, changes in circumstances, understanding, realities, and new knowledge in the field. A good monitoring and evaluation system supports adaptive management efforts.

I can also help you develop a robust logical framework and monitoring & evaluation plan as part of grant proposal development as well as with periodic assessments during project implementation and at end-of-project.
